VL Sandown Wagon
The VL ‘Sandown’ was produced as a ‘one off’ by Brock and HDT for the station wagon market. The HDT Build No. of this particular car is 4240 and the vehicle was fitted from factory with the six-cylinder motor and received the HDT improved cold air intake and a big bore exhaust. Suspension consisted of Brock’s ‘System One’ springs and gas pressure shocks. Wheels were HDT 15 x 7″ Aero’s complete with the flush fitting covers. Body mods consisted of a body coloured Group A Grill, Signature Series (Group Three) front air dam, rear apron, side skirts and which was all was dipped in Maranello Red.
