The Group 2 was the middle level car of the VH series and featured all of the extras of the Group 1, but also received some extra modifications including blue printed cylinder heads, extractors, chromed rocker covers, gas flowed inlet manifold, front fender windsplitters, rear deck spoiler and Group 2 decals.
Many buyers opted to further option their Group 2’s so some were fitted with the Group 3’s Irmscher road wheels and additional body components.
All these modifications came to $3250 over the price of the base SS and again, only a handful of these cars would be produced, initally in red and later in white also
